Kommuri Pratap Reddy Institute of Technology is an autonomous institution widely recognized as KPRIT. KPRIT Hyderabad has received ‘A’ grade by NAAC. KPRIT CSE and ECE departments has been accredited by NBA. It was established in 2008 in Hyderabad by Shri Kommuri Pratap Reddy. KPRIT Hyderabad is affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. KPRIT Hyderabad campus is spread over 22 acres of land in Hyderabad- Warangal Highway. KPRIT Hyderabad infrastructure and amenities for sports and other recreational facilities are excellent. KPRIT Hyderabad facilities include wi-fi enabled infrastructure, well-ventilated classrooms, laboratories, a library, an auditorium, and a gymnasium to name a few.
KPRIT Hyderabad courses are offered at the undergraduate level. KPRIT Hyderabad B.Tech course is offered under various specialisations, namely computer science and engineering, CSE artificial intelligence and machine learning, CSE data science, electronics and communication engineering, and civil engineering. KPRIT Hyderabad admissions are done on the basis of TS EAMCET for admissions, and TS ECET is considered for B.Tech lateral entry admissions.
KPRIT Hyderabad has started a SEED programme which focuses on training students in technical and interpersonal skills from their first year onwards. KPRIT Hyderabad offers admissions to its courses through a counselling process conducted by TSCHE. KPRIT Hyderabad admissions are done both in regular mode and lateral entry mode. Currently, KPRIT Hyderabad is offering admission in B.Tech courses in all its disciplines through entrance exams. KPRIT Hyderabad accepts TS EAMCET for admission in regular B.Tech course. For admission in B.Tech lateral entry admissions, candidates need to clear the TS ECET. Prior to appearing for the entrance exams candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria set for the courses.
KPRIT Hyderabad Eligibility Criteria
For admission to KPRIT Hyderabad B.Tech course for all its disciplines candidates need to pass in 10 + 2 conducted by the board of intermediate education, the government of Telangana or any other examination recognised as equivalent to mathematics, physics and chemistry as optional subjects.
KPRIT Hyderabad Admission Process
- Candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria for the selected course to start with the KPRIT Hyderabad admission process.
- Candidates then need to apply for the TS EAMCET for regular admissions and TS ECET for lateral entry admission.
- To start with the next step of the KPRIT Hyderabad admission process candidates have to appear and qualify for the entrance exams.
- After the TS EAMCET and TS ECET results are out, KPRIT Hyderabad will release the TS EAMCET cutoff and TS ECET cutoff as well.
- Based on the KPRIT Hyderabad cut-off list, candidates will release a merit list of the shortlisted candidates.
- The shortlisted candidates will be then called in for the counselling process wherein the seat will be allotted. They need to pay the counselling fees as well before attending the counselling process.
- The counselling will be done in several rounds.

- Candidates will be called in for document verification, wherein they can pay the necessary fees.
